Approaching 4 months!

From this.... ...to this! :o)

As my birthday looms over me I can't help but remember this time last year. We were right in the middle of our first IVF, so hopeful and scared at the same time.. tomorrow it will be exactly one year from my embryo transfer. I am so glad one of those little balls did settle in and grow into our beautiful daughter! She is a joy and the best birthday/Christmas/every day present ever! Keeps giving every day!

Ako sa mi blizia narodeniny, neda mi si nespomenut na tento cas minuly rok. Boli sme prave v strede nasho prveho cyklu umeleho oplodnenia, plni nadeje a strachu zaroven.. zajtra tomu bude presne rok od mojho prenosu embryi. Som velmi rada ze jedna z tych malych guliciek sa usadila a vyrastla do nasej prekrasnej dcery! Mala je takym potesenim a najlepsi darcek na narodeniny/vianoce/a kazdy iny den ako si mozeme zelat! Darcek co obdaruva kazdy den!

New gigs party

We had a little "new place party" where many of our friends brought their babies. Enjoy! There is (from the left) Noah, Max, Sofia, Tighe... she loves it with her boyfriends!!!

Mali sme taku malu "oslavu noveho bytu" a vela nasich znamych ma male babatka. Mame (zlava doprava) Noah, Max, Sofia, Tighe.. sa jej to paci s jej napadnikni!!!

3 months!

And here we are, 3 months already! Sofia is wonderful, of course! She loves to spend time with me and Daddy, she adores her bouncy seat that has a little mirror hanging over it (she loves mirrors, period! When watching herself in a full lenght mirror she won't stop smiling and talking to "that other baby"!). She also likes to talk to a little bee hanging over her swing and gets upset when that darn bee doesn't respond!!! She talks louder and louder at her! And nothing! Her favorite time to talk is at 6am when she wakes up and whenever we change her diaper! Such a chatty Betty she is! She also likes to sing along with me and we got our first laugh last week (I was happy that the Boston Bruins won over Montreal and did a victory "whoop" and she thought that was the funniest thing! Needless to say, I kept saying whoop... can't wait for that to happen more often (the laugh, not the Bruins winning over Montreal although that is great too!Go Bruins!) Physically she is very very strong. She loves to sit up and look around, when on her belly she lifts up like crazy! And bounces on her feet and lifts her legs all the way up when on her back!! She will be running around in no time!!! Thank God we have the baby gate all installed!!!

We also started rice cereal a little bit of apple today, she seems to like it! There is a picture of her with stuff on her mouth, that is the rice cerela not puke, just so you know! :o)

Oh, and we also moved to a slightly bigger place! Took a lot of work but so far so good, we are liking it! Everybody, please stay in touch!

Tak uz sme cez 3 mesiace! Sofia je uzasna! Rada travi cas so mnou a s ocinom, ma strasne rada jej vibrujucu stolicku so zavesenym zrkadielkom - sa do neho pozera (zrkadla ma vsetky rada, ked jepred velkym zrkadlom tak sa len usmieva a rozprava so s tym "druhym babom v zrkadle!). Ma rada aj vcelicku co sa jej hojda na hojdacke, vyprava jej o dusu a jeduje sa ked vcielka neodpoveda, tak na nu zvysuje a zvysuje hlas!! Najradsej blaboce o siestej rano ked nas tak budi a ked ju prebalujeme! Je celkom utarana!! Rada so mnou tiez spieva a minuly tyzden sa aj prvy krat zasmiala (ked nas hokejovy tim vyhral nad ich najvacsim rivalom a ja som natesene vykrikla a zamavala rukami a malej sa to zdalo velmi smiesne!). Uz sa neviem dockat ked sa to bude stavat castejsie (ten smiech, nie hokejove vyhry hoci to je dobre tiez!). Fyzicky je mala velmi silna. Rada sedi a pozera sa okolo, ked je na brusku tak sa zdviha, pohupuje sa na nohach a zdviha nozky uplne hore ked je na chrbate... ani sa nenazdam a bude mi tu behat! Esteze sme namontovali detsku branku pri schody! Taktiez sme uz zacali s kasickou a jablckom - sa jej to rata! Jedna z tych fotiek ju ukazuje s kasickou na ustach, aby ste si nemysleli ze to ma povracane.. :o) Oh, a sme sa prestahovali do vacsieho! Bolo to narocne ale zatial to stoji za to!
